About us
The team behind Norvax
Two Dutch founders, a working platform and a team of 8 AI agents that operate around the clock. No sales department, no account managers, no vague promises.
Co-founder & CEO
Alex Spaan
Alex is Co-founder and CEO of Norvax. He is 20 years old and has been coding since he was 14. What started as small Python scripts to automate school work grew into a full obsession with systems that take work off people's plates. During his studies he built chatbots for friends running web shops, scraping scripts for a local contractor and automated email flows for a one-person business. Every project taught him the same lesson: SMBs want to use AI, but cannot afford the rates that large agencies charge.
Where others saw ChatGPT as a toy, Alex saw a productivity platform. In 2024 he wired OpenAI into n8n, Playwright and his own VPS. That became the foundation of the Norvax stack: a Dutch infrastructure where chatbots, content pipelines and workflow automation come together in a single dashboard. Clients like TopKranen, where Alex built a 24/7 chatbot for quote requests in the crane rental industry, and Ukraine2Work, where he delivered multilingual landing pages with CRM integration and compliance content, are the direct result. No demo environments, no proof-of-concepts. Systems that actually earn money for the client every day.
His expertise lies in n8n workflow automation, OpenAI and Claude APIs, Playwright for browser automation, and the full chatbot architecture from webhook to knowledge base. He builds the platform himself, configures every AI agent and keeps the infrastructure running. No PowerPoint strategies, no stock photos of "teams" that do not exist. Just case studies where you can see what is actually running for our clients.

Co-founder & SEO/GEO Specialist
Thijs Rooimans
Thijs is Co-founder of Norvax and runs the full SEO and GEO practice. He is 20 years old and has been writing about search engine optimization since he was 16. What started as a personal blog where he documented his own keyword experiments became, within five years, deep expertise in how Google, Bing and AI search engines like ChatGPT and Perplexity evaluate and cite content. He learned faster than most agencies because he tested every update on his own projects.
Where classical SEO stops at keyword density and backlinks, Thijs starts at structure. Schema markup, entity optimization and semantic connections between pages are the building blocks he uses to write content that ranks in Google and also gets cited by AI search engines. This is called Generative Engine Optimization, or GEO, and it is a field he is actively helping to define. For Norvax this means every article is written with both Google ranking and AI citation as goals. That doubles the lifespan and value of the content.
His expertise covers keyword research for the Dutch market, on-page SEO, schema markup implementation, content strategy and AI citation engineering. For every client he designs a content pipeline that fits the industry, the tone of voice and the search behaviour of the audience. For Ukraine2Work he built a full multilingual content structure around WTTA regulation, and for TopKranen a niche knowledge base on crane types and projects. Our position
What Norvax stands for
Our mission is simple. Make AI accessible for every ambitious business, without enterprise pricing or multi-month engagements. We build working systems in weeks, not quarters. Honest about what AI can and cannot do, and transparent about what it costs.
What we do
Concrete solutions from day one. Chatbots that capture leads, content pipelines that publish weekly and workflow automation that saves hours per week. Built on our own Dutch infrastructure, with transparent pricing and month-to-month billing.
What we do not promise
We do not promise ten times more leads in 30 days. We are not the cheapest option, because real systems take time to build properly. And we do not work with large corporations or white-label middlemen. Direct SMB clients only, honest results only.

Frequently asked
Questions about the team
The most common questions about who we are, where we are based and how we work.
Who is Norvax?
Norvax is a Dutch AI marketing agency founded by Alex Spaan and Thijs Rooimans. We build chatbots, SEO and GEO content, and workflow automation for ambitious SMBs. Everything runs on our own infrastructure in the Netherlands. No white-label resellers, no middlemen.
Why are the founders so young?
Alex and Thijs are both 20 years old. Age says little about capability. Alex has been coding since he was 14 and has years of hands-on experience with n8n, OpenAI and chatbot architectures. Thijs has been writing about SEO since 16 and understands the Dutch search landscape better than many senior consultants. Being young means we build every day rather than staying stuck in old ways of working.
Who is the CEO of Norvax?
Alex Spaan is Co-founder and CEO of Norvax. He is responsible for the platform, AI automation, onboarding and client relationships. Thijs Rooimans is Co-founder and leads SEO, GEO and content strategy. You always speak directly with a founder, never through an account manager.
Who does Norvax work with?
We work with Dutch and European SMBs between 5 and 100 employees: web shops, staffing agencies, skilled trade businesses and service providers. We do not work with large corporations or agencies that resell our work. Direct clients, direct results.
Where is Norvax based?
Norvax is based in the Netherlands and all data, content and workflows run on Dutch servers. No US cloud, no Asian third-party services handling your customer data. This keeps GDPR compliance straightforward and keeps your customer records inside the EU.
What is your view on AI?
AI is a tool, not a magic wand. We believe AI works best when it absorbs repetitive work so people can focus on strategy, creativity and relationships. We do not promise 10x growth. We promise working systems that do something for you every day that you would otherwise have to do yourself.
How fast can I go live?
On average 14 days from sign-up to a working chatbot or your first published articles. The exact timeline depends on how quickly you provide your knowledge base, access and preferences. Onboarding is fully digital through the dashboard. No four-hour kick-off meetings.
What makes Norvax different from other AI agencies?
Three things. First, published pricing from €499 per month, no quote-by-request games. Second, month-to-month billing, so we have to earn your business every month. Third, everything runs on our own stack, so you are not dependent on an unknown third-party platform.
Built in the Netherlands
All servers, data and workflows are hosted in the Netherlands. GDPR-ready, without US cloud dependency for customer data.
Our own stack
Next.js, n8n, PostgreSQL, Docker and Traefik. Your chatbots and automations run on our own infrastructure, not on a third-party platform that can change or disappear tomorrow.
